Such a complicated soul
But with great protectiveness and need to prove yourself to the world
I befriended you and I gained an eternal friend,
One who will forever stick up for me
Like a mama bear, but with even bigger claws
And a gaze that can burn through skin.
Someone who I can joke with about anything
Even the bad things we always seem to go through in life.
Our lives are so similar; it’s kind of creepy at times
It makes me believe we were meant to cross paths
And hopefully stay crisscrossing through our futures.
People should get to know you more
As I have gotten to know you the best
Because once you become friends with someone
You never let them fail
And you never let them down.
